Submission Guidelines

Phase 1: Extended Abstracts Submission

All authors are invited to submit an extended abstract (not exceeding 4 pages) describing original research, practice-based work, case studies, work-in-progress, or artistic and creative contributions describing e.g., the technical development and purpose of game-based health interventions.

 Extended abstracts submission will be peer reviewed and, if accepted, will be presented at the conference and included in the conference proceedings. All accepted submissions accepted for the conference require the registration of at least one of the authors as a Full Delegate or Full Student Delegate to the conference.

The extended abstract should be a maximum of 4 pages (including references), and should use the following template in either Word or LaTeX:

Authors are requested to submit the final formatted paper electronically as a PDF to: https://easychair.org/my/conference?conf=icdvrat26

Accepted submissions will each be assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) and published open access under the CC-BY-4.0 license in the official ICDVRAT conference proceedings, published by AAU Open Publishing.

Phase 2: Special Issue (To be announced)

A selection of authors from accepted conference papers will be invited to submit a full paper for consideration in a journal special issue. Submission to the special issue is optional and subject to a separate peer-review process.
